A world-class academic library at the heart of Alliance University, providing comprehensive resources and services to support the learning and research community since 2008.
Modern Infrastructure
Housed in an independent, dome-shaped building with four floors and a total carpet area of 55,000 sq. ft. Sections include Circulation, Reference, Periodical, Audiovisual, Book Bank, and a Kannada Language section. Can accommodate 1,000+ users.
Fully Computerized
Automated with RFID & Bar-Code technology, using the KOHA Integrated Library Management Software — MARC & Z39.50 compliant. The Library Catalogue is hosted on the Cloud with full Web OPAC access.
Wi-Fi & Digital Access
Complete Wi-Fi connectivity across all floors with a dedicated Digital Library section. Access thousands of e-books, e-journals, and online databases through remote access and institutional subscriptions.
Open Access System
The library has adopted an Open Access System, enabling readers to browse, select, and access books and other sources freely from the stacks. Printed material is classified using Dewey Decimal Classification. Bay guides and shelf-lists are provided throughout.
